Find a way to recover from leaving Montreal! - thank God Brussels is so lovable!
I am a rather tall girl, quite sensical but who loves talking nonsense too sometimes. Some people find me terribly funny... most don't.
I probably couldn't live without the sea, nature and music; but i actually need contact with people just as badly.
Smile a lot, 'cause it's totally worth it, right?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I participate in CS mostly through CS events in the cities I'm new to, and to find travel buddies while I'm travelling on my own. I've surfed a few couches here an there, and most certainly would want to return the favor.
Singing, trekking and biking, cooking, sailing. Also, very important: hanging out with friends and talking around a good Belgian beer, that's even better if I happen to be speaking something else than French.
Music, Movies, and Books
Films: Away we go, Les amours imaginaires, Eternal Sunshine of spotless mind, Crazy, Magnolia, Nightmare before Christmas...I LOVE music, pretty much all kinds... (except pure noise)
I love good novels, a few of my favorite authors would be: Patrick O'Brian, Barbara Kingsolver, Jane Austen, Romain Gary, Richard Powers etc
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I swam among (harmless) jellyfishes in Sweden, that was a pretty amazing experience, I found. I sang in the Philarmonie, Berlin which was pretty sick to. I'm very proud of the fact that I once sailed 50 hours straight to Jersey. Also, I ran into Stromae in a café in Prenzlauerberg once, you know, casually :P
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach French and would love to learn new
languages or improve those I know a little bit already.
I can give technical advice in singing, and teach you a lot of Belgian recipes.
I'd love to improve my sewing skills, and learn new exotic recipes.
