ABOUT ME

I want to live my life to it's fullest, meet different people, travel the world, see places, experience things and do all the other things that most people never find time for.

The last thing I wan to do is get a boring corporate job and spend every day of my life waiting for retirement. Sounds stupid, but so many people spend their lives like that.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a lazy hippie who thinks working hard is too mainstream (though I have nothing against such people). I am ambitious, and I hope to change the world – even if in a small way – but I want to do it on my own terms.

I guess you could call me independent, but I do enjoy good company and meeting different people. That's what I like about CouchSurfing the most.

PHILOSOPHY

As a complete Apple fanboy I'll quote Steve Jobs here. It's a serious quote, but an important one.

"Remembering that I'll be dead soon is the most important tool I've ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life.

Almost everything--all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure--these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important.

Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart."
