ABOUT ME

I'm a genuinely genial-type person, always friendly and compassionate and searching for a project or adventure. I know how to be low-key and do my own thing when necessary, but I also aim to never say no to some exploration and a new game. I'm a great listener and want to be a true friend to anyone who needs one, whether that's providing ventilation for a rant-sesh, bringing relaxing tea and then sitting quietly, or silly and ridiculous distractions when having a rough time. I am a friend of any animal (unfortunately for my arms, this is true regardless of whether they're bitey creatures or not). I have little to no reservations when it comes to making ridiculous puns or letting my facial expressions get unattractively out of control.

Intereses

Any experience is new to me if it's in a new place or with a new person--I'm very quick to enjoy my time spent. I love to learn languages and then drink enough drinks to finally be comfortable trying them out. I read books full of wordplay and characters that smell like seabreeze and cherry lozenges, dance to any kind of style that doesn't require grace and strict posture (that's a no no on tutus), and eat weird combinations of flavors (barring only meat-filled sustenance) that I never can decide if I like or not. I also sit quietly to myself to study new subjects (computer programming or psychology, etc) for hours at a time and love sharing new factoids that I hear and read. If you have factoids to share in return, I am always appreciative and left thoroughly awed.

- When I went down a natural waterslide (of smooth rocks and waterfalls) in Arizona and realized what it felt like to fly--and then what it also felt like to repeatedly bruise your butt on ridges and not care because it was worth it.
- When I learned anything at all about physics or astronomy. Seriously, pick something about one of the subjects--if I've learned it, it has left me awestruck. If I have not yet heard such things, I await the wonder I'll encompass when I do.
