I am a 26 year old artist, singer-songwriter, performer and traveling... pursuing a music career in Oakland, California. I am also a nanny and do odd-jobs to support my pursuit of music. However I have also worked for a few years in the non-profit world as a youth-mentor!
I grew up in San Diego and love (more than anything) to swim and be near the water. After high school I moved to Santa Cruz, CA where I studied art and Community Studies.
I am so excited to be traveling (finally!) with my best friends after many years of staying local; in school and working in California.
I LOVE meeting new people, making new friends wherever I go, eating, drinking, dancing, etc. I love to go out and be social, but also am really into nature and all the outdoor activities that come with it (ie. hiking, swimming, soccer).

I also love sharing my music with new people that I meet and if you have a guitar or keyboard, would love to play you some songs. I love artist/LGBTQ communities and events!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that the best way to get to know a new place and culture is through people. I am really excited to see Iceland's gorgeous landscapes and natural sites.. But I really want to experience the culture through the people! Also, I just love making new friends!

Interests

Performing and listening to music, dancing (I LOVE dancing!!!) , eating, theatre, hiking, swimming, hanging with friends and family, speaking French (and anything to do with French culture!), practicing meditation (although I'm not very good at it) and mindfulness... Basically drinking a beer on a beautiful beach with friends with music playing is my idea of heaven!
