Hi all! I’m a recent college graduate working and living in Burlington, Vermont! I'm very passionate about protecting the environment, its people, and living sustainability. My main focus is on food systems and sustainable development, thus, I have a committed relationship with food - both growing it and eating it. I'm a vegetarian (trying to be vegan) so I love sharing and learning meat-free cooking skills. I've worked on organic farms for a few years, currently work at a food hub (sourcing local, sustainable, and nutritious food) and am always looking to expand my knowledge of farming and permaculture. I love biking, photography, 80s/90s hip-hop, yoga and political activism.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting people, sharing stories and experiences, and learning from the locals. I'm always willing to share what I know. And you can’t beat an economical and sustainable way to travel!

Music, Movies, and Books
All books about environmental and political activism (Naomi Klein!), lit about the Beat Generation, and my monthly subscription to The Sun magazine (to name just a few). Enjoy a wide range of genres, especially classic hip-hop and rock. And my favorite hometown band, Dr. Dog!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Protested at the biggest climate rally in NYC! I continue to be a part of the global divestment movement. I went dumpster diving with a monk in Denmark. Got arrested at the Whitehouse for protesting the Keystone XL pipeline. Hitchhiked to Copenhagen.
