Overview
About Me
**I recently have moved into a new apartment in Chicago and am getting settled. Once I have gotten more moved in, I will be open to hosting others.**
I am a young anthropologist with a deep sense of adventure and a shallow budget.
I have a "low maintenance" travel style and tend to prefer long winding road trips and forest camping to first class flights and hotel suites. I love cooking and am always happy to prepare a hearty meal to share, accommodating all dietary preferences. I enjoy a nice craft brew from time to time. Big animal lover - no allergies here!
I love to find people and places that change my perspective on the world and my place in it. Ask me anything - I am an open book!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to meet new people and gain new perspectives. I very much believe that the best way to travel is to connect with locals and learn about places from those who live there. I tend to shy away from "touristy" areas and am always looking for recommendations on cool things to do that I would otherwise miss.
Please tell me your favorite things to do in your city - and ask for mine in Chicago! I have lots of advice for travelers depending on your interests.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent New Years Eve overlooking the Grand Canyon with my oldest friend in the world - reflecting on everywhere we've been together and everywhere life will take us while apart. It was an enlightening moment and a wonderful way to start my year.
