A friend recently told me about www.couchsurfing.com. Over the holidays I went to Lebanon and Jordan. Before leaving I contacted a few people to see if they had any ideas for our trip. They were so helpful and we met while I was in town. Knowing them made the trip even better!

The best book I have read is Shantaram. Check it out. It's long, but worth it. I recently saw "Slumdog Millionaire" and I think it may be the best art direction of any movie I have seen. It brought me back to my trip to India...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

How could I narrow it down to one?! I think one of the most amazing experiences I have recently had is being taught how to do Kurdish folk-dancing in Sanliurfa, Turkey. Petra, Jordan also exceeded all expectations.
