About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travelling to world in search of a place called home

ABOUT ME

After growing up in a small town in northern British Columbia I dreamed of getting out and seeing everything the world had to offer, and I am well on my way to accomplishing that goal. I have spent the last 5 years travelling to various countries doing everything from volunteering to tourism to working holidays, and I don't see myself settling down anytime soon.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that life is only a temporary situation so why treat things like they are permanent. I would consider myself a global citizen and it is my firm belief that this world is here for everyone to enjoy.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have only had the opportunity to couchsurf five times and host once, but I really look forward to meeting many new people with more of these great experiences.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love that CSing is about more than just finding free accommodation, it's also about meeting people and making every trip a memorable one. That's why the message boards are so great. There is always something happening no matter where you are in the world.

Interests

My interest are mainly photography, writing, and culture, but also extend to many other things that are far to numerous to list here.

Music, Movies & Books

I mostly enjoy rock but will listen to anything that is not country. Some of my favorite bands include The Black Keys, Fleetwood Mac, and Cage the Elephant.
As for books, I will pretty much read anything that is put in front of me. There is nothing more enjoyable to me than getting lost in a good book.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

The most amazing thing that comes to mind is the very first time I stepped off a plane and into Africa. Was I nervous? Of course! But the experience that followed cemented the love of travel that remains in my heart today. And 5 years later I'm still at it.

What I Can Share With Hosts

Fun conversation and a few interesting stories.

Countries I've Visited

Egypt, France, Greece, Kenya, Kuwait, Morocco, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, United Kingdom, United States
