Discover the beauty in every single moment of life. Live only in the present!
Well, for starters, I'm not great at filling in 'about me' description boxes! Like anyone, I can be such a different person from day to day, moment to moment. I love people, nature and food (always!). That's def not all there is about me - meet me and see ;)

We colour the lived-in experience of our own life, and because of this, how good/bad the world is, is entirely within our control. Gonna have to borrow from a note scrawled on a club door in Bristol: "Life is in your head. Make it a nice place!".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Been couchsurfing my way throguh Peru and Ecuador in 2010, had some off time, but I'm back on the Couchsurfing map now. I'm in New York at the moment, and will have a couch set up within a few weeks back in Bristol, England!
a little in ecuador, really awesome guy let us play in his house for a month, great introduction to the principals behind couchsurfing.
Doing what scares me the most. Always leads to the most interesting experiences.
I do love Yoga (I've mainly done Hatha but I'm up for any variation).
FOOD. Any and all, big or small, professional or home made. Talking about it, making it, eating it! My new year's resolution for 2012 was to learn to cook, and I am always up for feeding everyone around me.
It's gonna be my new year's resolution for 2013 to learn how to sing (well, at least save myself and those around me from the experience of me doing my finest whitney impersonations) so if you're lucky/play an instrument/are really lovely and patient and a singing coach we could 'jam' together and whatnot. (not yet, I'm totally crap at the moment!)
I find myself studying a lot of the local insects and birds I encounter, and in general the natural world just fascinates me endlessly. It's my dream to create natural history documentary films, as they can inspire everyone to really and truly appreciate what an incredible planet we find ourselves on.

Music, Movies, and Books
Anything involving Sir David Attenborough. Also love Carl Sagan's Cosmos series. Adam Curtis' documentaries (the first one I saw was The Century of The Self - I found it really insightful). I love stuff like Baraka and Life in a Day - you know, when movies almost make you feel as though you've been traveling across the world yourself!
Fave musician is Ludovico Einaudi. Just can't get enough of that man. And anything Trip hop is gooood.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Racing against the weather, with 20 or so women and kids, to collect the freshly harvested maize before an enormous thunderstorm rolled in from foothills of Mount Elgon, Eastern Uganda. Then getting laughed at because of the tiny package that was the maximum I could carry on my head!
First glimpsing the Himalaya... even from 200 km away, I was entranced.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can muster up some impractically deep chats about mathematics if you like...
I wanna learn how to sing!
I'm not awful at art and so could try to teach it! I'd like to get into body painting actually (paint someone or be painted!) so if anyone's up for that it could be really interesting!
