About Me

CURRENT MISSION

For the sun is warm and the world is a beautiful place

ABOUT ME

I really love learning, thinking, smiling, and using my senses (looking at things, smelling them, tasting them). I enjoy riding my bike and drinking coffee. I live with my boyfriend, Hunter, in a beautiful neighborhood in North Seattle - about 3 miles from downtown. We both have awesome jobs - he works as a geotechnical engineer and I am transportation planner - and love our city. I have a great family and I miss them terribly when I'm away. I also have the most amazing best friends in the world. Not only do they love me with their whole souls for exactly who I am, they also make me laugh till I pee my pants, encourage me to be my best self, and teach me new things everyday.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to live a happy life and help others do the same.

Music, Movies, and Books

I've never been much of a movie-watcher...sadly. I do, however, have an undeniable love for "The Nightmare Before Christmas"
I love music, lots of music. Usually you can find me listening to folk, alternative, blues and hip-hop.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I rode my bicycle 4,000 miles across the United States summer of 2011. It was, by far, the most amazing thing I have ever done. I went through the Panama Canal on a boat, and I've biked across the state of Iowa with RAGBRAI (most fun thing ever).
