Overview
About Me
I'm an inquisitive, happy, friendly, approachable, sensible yet daft, laid back, lover of life!
I like to travel and visit new places, and at the moment I'm lucky enough to be doing a bit of travelling with work.
I'm a self funded PhD student, studying the nutrition that reaches cold water corals around Britain and Ireland, and I'm very interested in public engagement of science.
I love live music, theater, drinking wine, cooking and eating lovely food and generally having a very nice time :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm currently looking for a place to stay in Edinburgh for almost 3 weeks while I work at the Edinburgh International Science Festival - I can't wait!
I appreciate this is not a short time to let some one stay in your home, but I am very nice and tidy, a great cook, can make amazing cakes and will be out and about working and seeing the city so won't get under your feet :)
I'm also wanting to start hosting in Liverpool once I get back from Edinburgh and my schedule calms down a bit. I feel that staying with local people can give you an insight into a place that you would otherwise not experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hmmm, I think we all do amazing things all the time!
I've traveled, worked on reforestation projects and permaculture projects, all sorts of things... but non of this matters if you can't just be nice to people and spread the happiness!
What I Can Share with Hosts
My energy, enthusiasm for life (whilst being a laid back soul), the food that I'll cook and the wine that I'll bring :)
Countries I’ve Visited
France, India, Ireland, Nepal, Portugal, Spain, Thailand, United Arab Emirates
