我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I was in an unhealthy controlling relationship, now im trying to put myself back together. I suffer from social anxiety, so I tend to keep to myself,dont have much a life or go out, nor do anything. Makes it impossible to have friends,or make any, when I dont let myself go anywhere to meet people...I understand this is not normal,its not healthy. I might not be in an unhealthy relationship anymore, but now anxiety is what effects and controls every aspect of my life, and I refuse to let myself live like this forever...I used to be a social butterfly, great conversationalist, easy to get along with, and had soooo many friends.....I cant be the old me,.....but I know I can be better.so I'm forcing myself out of comfort zone and want to socialize, experience the world and people again, I want to get over my anxiety, or at least learn to cope with it. To start this self changing process, i want to go stay and visit in different cities, meet people, and explore living again. I'm trying to look at things differently, if something makes me feel uncomfortable now, then I must be doing something right.im hoping couchsurfing and the people I end up meeting along the way,will help me learn/remember how it is to actually live again.
