About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To let my "soul" fly wherever it wants.

ABOUT ME

I am an open-minded, sociable and optimistic person, who loves LIFE and has a thirst for discovering new stuff; it can be about cultures, countries, people, or about art... really anything that catches my eyes! I lived 13 years in London and now I'm back in my homeland, starting a new chapter, hopefully a sparkly one. I try to live in the most sustainable way I can, respecting what Mother Nature has provided me with ie this beautiful planet. My mentra could be: Being a healthy person in a healthy mind, achievable? mmm!

PHILOSOPHY

Have fun. Follow your bliss. Live deep. Harm no one.

"La beauté qui sauvera le monde, c'est la générosité, le partage, la compassion, toutes ces valeurs (...) qui mènent à une énergie fabuleuse qui est celle de l'amour. Pierre Rabhi

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not very experienced. Slowly but surely it seems to be. Anyway, I've got a whole life to meet you all. My first CS experience was in Switzerland. Met a very welcoming lady who shared some great local stories and ways to explore the local area and wow! spot one. It was amazing, the Valais region in Switzerland is a must do.

Interests

Many interests come to mind but above all I'd say that cross-cultural experiences are the obvious ones. Those moments truly transform your existence. Each conversation shared with a person you never met before always leads to something new and unique.

Amongst other things I also enjoy Hiking/trekking, photography, lomography, cinema, volunteering, child psychology (But that's part of my work), aboriginal culture, yoga, cooking, jogging, cycling. But, most of all, my obvious passion is music, I can spend hours searching webzins...for those soon to be big bands. I like the fact of being able to follow them from their beginning until 'stardum' appear. And live concert is part of the process. I recommend a little festival 'La Route Du Rock' (St-Malo), a little jewel to me, if you like pop, indie-rock and electro music.

Music, Movies & Books

Too many films I love you'll have to ask me when we meet.

Music wise, well, everything possible except opera. In particular enjoy, pop and indie-rock, garage, folk, world music, blues, jazz, soul, electro, hip hop and classical. You want names? from Muddy Waters, Serge Gainsbourg, Midlake, Jose Gonzales, Arcade Fire, The Cramps, Gus Gus, Léonard Cohen to Debussy (and many more). Please watch a great film/documentary by Y. Arthus Bertrand. It's really food for thoughts and CHANGES. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqxENMKaeCU

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Lived an amasing moment in Iceland few months ago when on one side of the night sky I saw a volcano erupting and on the other the Northen lights showing off their dances.

Teach, Learn, Share

Having a strong empathy for the aboriginal people/culture especially in Australia, I'd love to be able to live with them in the Outback (in true harmony with Mother nature) for a while, paint my dream, play the didgeridoo... If you have any info on how to achieve this dream of mine, that would be amasing. I may be able to teach some Yoga and why not French or English.

Countries I've Visited

Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom

Countries I've Lived In
