About Me

Genuine human experiences; collecting stories & writing about them; see the view of cities from rooftops

I'm not very good at describing myself, maybe because I'm at a time in my life where I'm not sure who I am or what I'm doing, or maybe because I don't have an accurate idea of myself. But I am very self-aware and self-reflective (maybe even too much so) and I actively look for experiences that make me feel alive. Whether it's conversations, swapping stories, exploring cities, going on adventures, I love genuine human experiences and try to look for that everywhere.

I love reading and am currently pursuing an English major at school. I really like vintage charm and quaint nooks and crannies, but can appreciate modern aesthetics. People have described me as easy going, empathetic, adventurous, quirky, and I often find myself having heart-to-hearts or great conversations with both friends and strangers. I'm genuinely interested in people and their experiences, so I love conversations like that.

The fact that we can feel emotions, create connections with people, and think about things is the most beautiful thing, in my opinion. I think we all have the potential to do something great (great being a relative and subjective term) with our lives. There is no greater meaning, and we probably don't even matter, but I think instead of spiraling into nihilism//existential crisis that freedom gives us greater power to create our own meaning in our lives.

Also, fuck the cubicle 9-5 sludge of mindless daily routines.
