Be optimistic as much as you can and enjoy your life!
A life-long student... A treehugger (I literally like to hug trees)... An agnostic in a religion-dominated country... And a wannabe in different departments of life...
I am working as an Assistant Professor in a public university. My major is Marketing but planning to switch to Sociology after completing my second PhD. I plan to specialize in sociology of religion, consumption and gender.
Like-list: Tennis (both court and table) and volleyball, animation cartoons, walking in forests and gardens, flowers, fresh bed sheets, tasty and healthy food, red wine or vodka, all types of cheese and chocolate, fireplace in winter, chit-chat with friends at summer nights, cats, sustainable living practices, modern-style buildings, mosaics, glass-granite-metal use at home, big LED TVs, all types of books, international folk music, language courses, cooking, desserts, quiz shows and a few more...
I am obsessed with a few American TV shows such as Iron Chef, Project Runway and RuPaul's Drag Race.
Continuous learning is a must for everybody.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'd like to meet people from all around the world and make new friends by CS. Just drop me a line. I'm gonna try my best for sure.
Superb so far. Stayed in few unorganized places but the people rocked.
Cooking and tennis are my beloved and I like traveling and taking photographs. However, I am no party material, not a huge fan of clubbing. I like to socialize at my own pace. I am fond of beautiful gardens and natural landscape.

Music, Movies, and Books
My top 3 movies - Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Kill Bill and Never Been Kissed.
Music - Pop, New Age and Folk
Authors - I like to read books from many authors, but the ones by whom I was wowed in the past are Elif Safak, Jared Diamond, Khaled Hosseini, Maeve Binchy, Paulo Coelho and Murathan Mungan. Both fiction and non-fiction work for me although I try to read scientific and non-fiction material more frequently.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watched sunset in Vienna
Eaten the most delicious croissant, baguette and cheese in Paris
Seen Gaudi's work in Barcelona
Tried delicious Indian food and cheesecake in Tokyo
Visited creative local shops in Toronto
I think these were all amazing. Do I need to do something extreme or rare? I don't think so.
Teach, Learn, Share
Sweethearts who do something good for the others and our planet impress me to a great extent. Moreover, people with different hobbies and some edge could teach us a lot by opening new doors in our ordinary lives.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My custom is to bring a special gift or food item for my host and/or I take my host to a dinner, the bill on me. Other than these, I share my dirty secrets from time to time :)
