ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly, open, warm person who loves adventure, meeting new people in a meaningful way and having fun along the way. I've travelled ever since I turned 18 and could legally set off on my own. Nowadays I travel mostly with my husband, Wills, who I met on my first travels years ago. I think I'm a pretty caring person and I also love to laugh.

Interests

I love those unexpected moments in life that just happen and that you know you'll never forget. That's what I love about travelling. But since being in India I'm learning to spend my time just enjoying soaking in the world around us - spending time with nature, enjoying the simple things without having to plan or do anything in particular. I also love reading, eating and drinking (especially steak and red wine!), volunteering, writing, chatting, country-hopping and experiencing new things, whatever they may be.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most obvious of my 'awestruck' moments would be that first glimpse of Macchu Pichu when the sun was rising. The way that the sun kind of slid over the huge mountain and slowly lit up the ruins below just rooted me to the spot. I felt like I was on the front of a travel magazine!
