Hi there! My name is Engun, 19 y/o, and I come from Denmark. I was born raised in Denmark and I've got Mongolian roots. I'm a very sociable, fun and light-hearted guy but also enjoy moments alone from time to time. I'm not a man of many needs - a little food and roof over my head is enough to get me through the day:)
I'm currently on a gap-year where I've travelled around Europe and now I currently reside in Areatza, close to Bilbao, working as an au-pair until June
In my free time love to immerse myself in the arts - so Movies, TV-shows, Litterature, Video Games and Music. Also like to play/watch basketball. Other sports I like to watch are football, tennis and f1. I play a some piano and recently I tried picking up the guitar! - love it. I also like to be active and healthy so hiking, running and fitness is something I like to do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

On my interrail trip throughout February I've been staying at hostels which was great! So now, I'm interested to see what the couch-surfing experience is like too. Also, I love meeting new people and learning about their backgrounds and cultures. I think meeting new people from different places is the way to broaden your perception of life since you learn about different life-stories and how other people's lives can be so much different from yours!

I listen to many different music-genres but mostly music from North America/England - Hip-hop, RnB, classic rock, alt-rock, indie music, art-pop, Electronic, folk and a bit of jazz. Favorite bands Include: The Strokes, Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Beatles, Queens of the Stone Age, RHCP and Foo Fighters. My favorite single-artists are Frank Ocean, Kanye West, Elliot Smith or Billy Joel. Favouite book is 1984. Favorite Movie is either La La Land or Fight Club (yes, two very different movies). Also in love with all of Christopher Nolan's, Kubrick's and Wes Anderson's movies. Favourite tv-shows: The Sopranos/Better call Saul/Succession/Curb your enthusiasm/Breaking bad/GOT/Fullmetal alchemist brotherhood

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked up a snowy/icey mountain of 2000 meters for the first time alone without spikes... was pretty dangerous but survived fortunately:)
I have driven from Denmark to Mongolia twice with my family (9000 km) in a minibus.
