ABOUT ME

I am an easygoing person, reasonably clean and tidy. I like to stay happy. I am eager to learn how people live. I have always lived in a city. I am interested to see what's beneath each place which makes it unique. I am fascinated by what's around me.

PHILOSOPHY

Happiness is really what one needs to make an effort to pursue.I aim to keep things simple, the world is complex enough.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only started couch surfing recently because my friends kept telling me how great it is. I had a very good experience and am keen to try to learn from the different perspectives from different people. And I believe it is only through real encounter then we can start to get to know people, a little bit more. The hosts here are definitely very generous in the sense that they open up their home to share with other people.
I'd like to ask the host to point me to one of their local experiences, perhaps somewhere that they would go whenever they have a moment of their own. This tends to lead to other directions for me to understand the city as well as the host.

兴趣

I like film, theatre, art, books, food, walking...... and of course travelling. Instead of going to tourist spots, I'd like to know where local people tend to go, even a good coffee shop or a park in which they hang out.

Don't get me started or I will not stop. For those who truly loves film, music and book would know what I mean. But to start, perhaps 2001: a space odyssey, an all time classic. I still don't think any space movie today really tops it.

Going back to a museum to look at the same work over and over again. I remember there was a time when I went to the cinema and saw 4, or 5 films a day...

I am learning to listen to the world and people around me. Perhaps I can share my way of cooking? I am happy to learn about other people's stories because I think each person comes from a different background. I can learn so much from other people's attitude towards life.
