Hi!
I am architecture student from Uruguay. Alright... that´s the standard part.... now the interesting one starts...
In Uruguay, Architecture Students get to travel the world. Every year 300 of us set off in an epic journey spanning the globe in a quest to learn Architecture and to see first hand all the buildings and cities we have studied and experienced just through paper... or screens, whilst studying. We finance this through three EXHAUSTING years selling raffle tickets (it is the uruguayan society the one making this trip possible... already more han 70 years old)

Thankfully that´s over, and this year is my turn!

So yes, I am excited, I´ll see the world and I want to get everything I can out of this amazing opportunity. And that trascends only seeing architecture, I want to meet the people, the culture!

I´ll soon embark on an amazing journey... I want to stay with locals, share, and in that way have a more meaningful trip.

Intereses

Travelling! Reading. Sharing stories. Eating! I like to talk, exchange experiences, and get to learn the "local point of view".
Well architecture of course, and everything that has to do with the built environment, but that´s a given right?

"Hundred years of Solitude", from Gabriel García Márquez is, in my opinion, one of the best books ever written. Just masterful.
"Aunt Julia and the scriptwriter", from Mario Vargas Llosa also deserves a mention in this list.
Everything written by Saramago is fantastic.
So many books!
