I'm currently studying to be a custom shoemaker. I've already completed one year as an apprentice and am transitioning into the next step of my training by studying under various shoemakers to pick up their techniques and tricks as I develop my own skills.

As an undergrad I had the good fortune to study abroad and since then, have developed a love of travel, and a desire to experience as much of the world as I can.

I like to cook and eat new foods, as well as visit cocktail bars, and I really love to explore cities on foot.

I'm here with the intent to make some personal connections with people and places I've never experienced. As an introvert this can be a challenge, but one that I think is well worth the effort. Although visiting a few of the essential tourist spots can be fun, I prefer to patronize local businesses, and support communities that have a unique regional personality.
