ABOUT ME

The past 2 years I have been settling in to my big girl post college job. I work for an energy management company and am very lucky in that I get to work from home 3 days a week. I only have to go sit in a corporate office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. My big girl job has afforded me the luxury of living by myself very close to downtown Portland. I am close to all major transit lines, bus and max (train) and many great local bars. I love making, playing and listening to music. I worked as a photographer for a few years. Please be aware that I am GAY. My girlfriend is gay. If you have any issues with that my home is not the place for you. I have a season pass to Mt. Hood and try to go snowboarding as often as possible. I have a pet Chinchilla named Doodle. She has recently been having some seizures so if you would like to stay with me I do ask that the noise level be moderate. Aside from that I'm a pretty outgoing person who loves being outside, traveling and meeting other travelers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am going to be taking a road trip with my girlfriend down to Tahoe for a Valentine's day/snowboarding vacation. I am hoping to find hosts for our trip down and back and decided that it is long overdue that I start hosting and giving back to the community that has brought me so many wonderful experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was a sophomore in college I spent a year living in Austria. At the end of the school year a friend and I took a trip through Northern Europe and we couchsurfed through Oslo, Stockholm, Helsinki and Amsterdam. It was an amazing experience and couchsurfing is what truly made this trip the best of my life. After that I spent spring break of my senior year couchsuring in Vancouver B.C. and had a blast.

Interests

guitar, EDM, dancing, photography, traveling, riding my bike, snowboarding, camping, playing any version of "catch", I play in a amateur pool league too
