I'm a college student at Washington University in St. Louis. I study biology, pre medicine, and Chinese. This summer, I studied TCM for two months in Kunming.
That's just a basic overview though. On the side, I do a lot of photography and Instagram things. It sounds cliche, but I promise you, it's not. Photography is and has been my passion for years. I studied it at NYU while in high school. After that, I did it semi professionally. Companies would hire me to do their product photography or advertisements. Now I take pictures of myself in weird positions, either contorting myself for yoga or lifting heavy things. Almost always though, I'm very sweaty.
My favorite thing in the world is health and the human body. I could talk about it for hours on end. So, that's what I do for a living. Every single day, I get to teach people healthy habits, give them advice on their food, how to exercise, what their body needs, etc. I love it. My clients are some of the most amazing and diverse people I've ever met. I have so many stories about them.
I also love dogs and babies, but who doesn't? ☺️
So what do I want to do with my life? It's very simple, kind of. I want to be a doctor who travels and practices hollistic medicine for her patients.
In my free time, which, as you may have guessed, is little, I like to exercise (shocker), listen to copious amounts of music (all kinds, even classical; in high school I played three very nerdy instruments), watch movies, and cook. I LOVE cooking and would be happy to cook for you as much as you want. It would be my sincere pleasure.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My friend and I are traveling around China and would like to connect with people while we do it.
Traveling is a huge passion of mine, as it is for everyone on this site. My favorite way to travel is to just fully immerse myself and get to know people.
I'm a personal trainer and fitness model (who takes her own pictures). I go to school to learn medicine with the aspiration to become a hollistic doctor.

Music, Movies, and Books
Any Disney movie
Most Pixar movies
Marvel and DC
Anything by Orsen Scott Card, Garth Nix, Niel Gaimen, etc.
I learned to read with Harry Potter when I was 5 years old. I read way before that but I got a certain pleasure out of reading books larger than I was. I basically thought I was Matilda.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been white water rafting down the Grand Canyon. The trip lasted 8 days.
Following that, I got stuck in a cave that I climbed up twenty feet to get into. I'll tell you all about it later.
I really, really want to go skydiving. But I'm working my way up by jumping off of cliffs into water, and climbing into high places first. I'm a slight adrenaline junkie.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love what I do. Teaching people about living a healthy life is a huge passion of mine. But honestly, whatever people can teach, they should. I'm ready and willing to be taught.
I teach physical and mental health. I'm a personal trainer, as I stated above, so I literally get paid to help people be happy and healthy. Best job ever.
I study medicine and Chinese language and culture. Both are fascinating to me. I hope to combine TCM and Western medicine in the future.
I will always share music, movies, and books with anyone and everyone. If you have any suggestions, let me know. I'm always looking for new stuff.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can speak Chinese so communication is a little easier. I also love to cook, so if our host is tired and doesn't want to make themselves dinner, provided we can use their kitchen, I would be more than happy to make your lives easier. I'm also very clean and neat so there won't be any extra cleaning on your parts once I leave.
I get really excited about the stories I tell so you'll almost always get a very emphatic performance whenever I'm telling you about the stupid things I do, or the people I work with. Don't worry, the stories are very rarely stupid things I do WITH the people I work with. I swear.
