ABOUT ME

My name is Erica. My husband and I live in California, in a town called Berkeley (as a frame of reference, we live just across the bridge from San Francisco).
We are finally going on our honeymoon to Ireland and Italy, and we quickly realized the benefits of signing up for couch surfers...now we can stay with real people and meet new friends along the way! We are happy to host folks who would like to pay a visit to our side of the ocean.

We have not yet hosted anyone, we have signed up just recently (May 2014). We would love to be hosts in the future (from July 2014 onward)

We enjoy electronic music. Anything that is fun and/or nostalgic to listen to. We read a lot. I just finished "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly", before that I read "The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down"
I enjoy reading Jack Kornfield's essays and books.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I lived in a tent camp in northern Tanzania for two months conducting field research. We had encounters with many wild animals, it was an adventure!
Robert is equally exciting. He can tell you more in person about his exciting travels.

教，学，和分享

I teach yoga (a style called Akhanda). I am a certified RYT-200 instructor. I am happy to lead early morning yoga sessions. I am also a college professor and currently teach Human Anatomy, and I am always excited to talk about the beauty of the human body and how we can care for it through movement and breath!
