Heyho, I'm Eric, physics engineer and from Germany. If you ask my friends, some will say, I'm crazy in a positive way and in some oppinions complicated. I'm living in a medium-sized city called Mittweida and study some part of nature science. In the past I was a long distance cyclist - I think, it's the best way for challenging the world: fast enough to get on and slow enough to get to know intense of a country, his landscape, people, culture and towns. But I also enjoyed mountain trekking, the peace and silence there is awesome!
The most amazing things I experienced till now are some biketravels, the biggest from Germany to Morocco and through Southeastasia; mountain trekking to the Mount Everest and other areas, a motorbiketour through Vietnam, diving in Asia and spontaneous city tours to other country, which will end everytime with unknown amazing people, who will be your friends later.
For now i stopped with excessive travelling because I'm finishing my masters degree here, after that I will continue to work. What happens in the future ... who knows?
I'm very interested in meeting different people and places ... I don't like "standards" I won't and can't write "all about me" down here. You have to meet me. ;)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A cold night, degrees below zero. Wet clothes, it's still raining and windy. The next morning: A beautiful sunset is warming my skin, a hot tea in my hands. (Czech Republic, Marienfels)
In the mountains, thousands of meters over the sea: No wind, no human, no noise. Only my breath and footsteps. Silence, the greatest happiness on earth, comes very often only through solitude into the hearth. (Spain, Sierra Nevada)
In Africa, when you meet people, who have nearly nothing and starting to share everything with you (Morocco)
The feets on the rock, the ground many meters away from you, only secured by a rope, a waterfall around you: Canyoning (La Dat, Vietnam)
Swimming and diving with turtles! (Koh Chang, Thailand)
The feeling to be at the top of the world, looking behind at all the days of walking (Mount Everest, Nepal)
These are only examples...
