I am a sophomore at Norther Michigan University in Marquette, MI. I'm studying outdoor recreation with the hope that I land a park ranger job somewhere out west after I graduate. I've seen much of the Midwest on family camping trips as a kid, but unfortunately have not traveled much beyond that.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I need to tell people my stories and hear theirs. My life is all about the people around me and the stories they have to share. I travel for the beauty of the world. There is far too much out there to see to stay in one place. I want to learn what it's like to live the struggle you face everyday so that I can have the best perspective on the world as possible.
I am interested in almost any active outdoor activity. I mountain bike, kayak, hike, snowboard, snowshoe, etc... I am also interested in subjects like biology, ecology, and sustainability.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I will soon be taking a 7 day trip on the Appalachian Trail through Georgia and a 2 week trip to Costa Rica. I will wait until those happen to elaborate.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a beginner, so please excuse my lack of teachable skills, but that just means I have plenty to learn. And I am more than happy to try any new skill you are willing to teach. I especially like learning about sustainable living techniques.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a grateful and respectful guest. I'll help out if you need it and I will certainly make to happy I stayed with you. I have a lot of exciting stories to share!
