ABOUT ME

Totally and completely new to this couch surfing community. Just recently found out it even existed what a wonderful way to, not only meet people but experience your destination more like a local.
I was a volunteer with the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, BC.(i am the one in brown jacket) Had a wonderful time meeting new people from around the world. Making new friends and showing them around Vancouver and my hometown, Chilliwack. It is very similiar to what couchsurfing community stands for. Sharing your town and experiences with others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently have no couch to offer but hopefully in the future i can return the favor to fellow surfers. Always willing to meet up for coffee or help with any travel questions of my surrounding area.

Interests

Curious about a lot of things, indecisive about others. A fellow couch surfer described it perfectly 'prefer to think of it (her indecisiveness) as just thoughtful, kind of a perfectionist'. Travelling, museums, theatre, cooking, hiking and exploring.

Music, Movies, and Books

In movies it will have to be 'chickflicks' first,Julia Roberts, Sandra Bullock. Comedies like Sahara, or action like James Bond (older ones), Transporter and the Italian Job among favourites.
In music a wide range. I listen to the radio more then anything. Not interested in heavy rock or punk. The rest is good.
Books a guilty pastime as a child now a luxury. Currently reading through the Outlander series, which has put Scotland on my list to visit in May.
