About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Whether surfing or hosting, I am here to share interests and experiences with like-minded (or maybe not-likeminded) individuals. Passionate people are the fizz of life.
For surfing, a local's perspective is the best way to create new friends and memorable experiences.
For hosting, being open to the generosity of others makes for a happy life, and I foresee that opening my home to travellers will pay back in tenfold. I find it amazing to be able to meet travellers from the world without having to leave the city, meanwhile showing them what makes Edmonton home to me.

Books: The Classics, The Existentialists, The Beats, and anything that makes my brain feel a little more salty than usual.

Movies&Television: 80's horror (The Thing, The Fly, Evil Dead); The Weird&Surreal (Twin Peaks, X-Files), Shows about Nothing (Seinfeld, Arrested Development, Broad City), and anything wonderfully offbeat.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I cast my deceased pet mouse in concrete.

Teach, Learn, Share

From concrete to watermelons, I'll attempt to make art (or a bad joke) out of whatever I can. Books, guitars, and pots and pans are at all of our disposal.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My weird vegan cooking and endless appetite for laughter and conversation over coffee or beer.

Countries I’ve Visited
