About Me

I'm a thirty-something that enjoys new places, cultures and FOOD! I grew up in Southern Oregon and am an Oregon girl at heart. I moved to Wenatchee almost 3 years ago with my husband and have enjoyed exploring the area. I like to be outdoors or by a river although the ocean is probably my favorite place.

My husband grew up around the US and is a Fisheries Biologist for the state. He. Loves. To. Fish.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We met such wonderful people while traveling! They were unfailingly kind and welcomed us with open arms. I'd like to continue to meet others from different areas. Even though my traveling days seem to be few and far between, what better way to do just that?.....and eventually travel some more.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm currently obsessed with Outlander and normally read historical fiction or mysteries. For music, I like a bit of everything and feel that no matter what language you speak, music is something we all have in common.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My husband and I packed up for 9 months and explored. We saw amazing things in the US and abroad and it was the best year of my life. Seeing the king penguins on Tierra del Fuego was one of my favorite days.

Teach, Learn, Share

Happy to struggle through Spanish and teach some English. Open to other languages but will be mostly gestures and laughs!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I've started picking up recipes from the places we've been. It's so fun to teach or learn a new recipe. I love to cook so it's fun to make something that takes me back to a place I've visited.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Jamaica

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
