About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel and meet interesting people!
ABOUT ME
I love cooking, good food of all ethnicities, wine and cheese, especially French cheese. I am friendly and curious and am interested in people and where they’re from. I like gardening and I have a vegetable and herb garden every year. I'm also a musician….I sing and play the violin.
PHILOSOPHY
Love people and make connections. Make music and food. Try to make the world a better place. Stay active and engaged and try to be a good steward for the earth.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Both....I like to host and be the guest.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted couchsurfers and I have been the surfer. I love the reciprocity of couchsurfing! My experiences have been mostly unique and positive. I enjoy sharing my home with travelers and showing them around Roanoke. As a traveler, I feel that being able to stay with locals in their homes is such a great way to experience a place and engage culturally.
Interests
Since I'm always trying to learn more French, I enjoy French film. I appreciate a lot of different types of music, but most prefer melodious acoustic music with an emphasis on lyrics and vocal harmonies. I enjoy the company of friends and open-minded people. I like to learn and to read. I exercise regularly and like to stay active by running, biking, and hiking.
