A traveler looking to thaw out and eat green food after 6 years living in Alaska. I enjoy all types of outdoor activities.

I've taken a leave of absence from my job to fulfill a lifelong dream of world travel.

PHILOSOPHY

I was put on this earth to serve those around me with a cheerful heart. I believe part of that service should be growing food to share with neighbors.

This is a new experience for me, but a good friend in Alaska had hosted a few folks and it was great to get to know them.

Interests

I like to spend time outdoors hiking, biking, swimming, gardening, visiting farmers markets, eating locally, reading about all these activities and more, and meeting amazing people from around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love working my way through "classical" lists. If the book shows up on several different lists, it goes on mine. I am mostly focused on western literature and history, but by no means exclusive. I also enjoy mystery novels and I'm slowly devouring the Agatha Christi collection.
