About Me

I won't be in Montpellier from nov 27th until dec 13th

get back to neanderthal: let's share and exchange, not sell and buy! Encouraging users to embrace the CS culture or leave the website. Couchsurfing is not a charity for stingy people, it's a SOCIAL network!

I am sick and tired of receiving copy/paste requests from people who don't read my profile and/or ignore it. I want to spend my time and energies on those who respect the rules of our community.

From the webpage

"Look through profiles and references to find people you might want to stay with. When you find a few interesting potential hosts, carefully review their profile and send a Couchrequest for the dates you’ll be there. [...] Make sure to personalize your messages and tell your host why you want to meet!"

Reading profiles is not an option

I USUALLY DO NOT ACCEPT 1 NIGHT-ONLY CS REQUEST: too many people arriving at evening, not willing to spend time with me and leaving the morning after.

If you don't want to risk receiving a negative reference follow the guidelines or don't send me a couchrequest (or even worst a message asking for a couch).

If you're new to couchsurfing, watch this funny and useful video before you go on:

I was born and I grew up in Rome from french mother and italian father. Hopefully I had the chance to travel across Europe thanks to work. At 29 I left Italy to move to southern France where I live since june 2006.

I'm quite a smart guy, I'm not at all the best if you like sightseeing as I love to know places and cultures through people and not through things.

*** IMPORTANT *** I will answer with an empty message, and eventually a negative reference if I perceive you're message is in freeloader-style, if you send me a generic copy/paste couchsurfing request without describing who you (and the people you are willing to be hosted with) are and why do you think it would be nice FOR ME TO HOST you (and not only for you to be hosted).

Especially in summer I receive, every single day, up to 6 requests and I want to invest my time supporting people who are willing to share.

if we both have a coin and we share it, we'll still have a coin each. if we have one idea each and we share them, both of us will have two ideas

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

to be sincere I registered as I was leaving for three weeks in Canada and I saw a profile that I loved and I wanted to get in touch with his owner. Anyway, I loved the idea and I think that happy living is not about getting more and more money/things/power but about hearing what you have/learn/appreciate so...

having the "chance" of living by myself, since I was 19, which is quite unusual in Italy, I always love to host friends here and I do it 'cause I think it's kind to others but it also gives me so much!
Starting in 2013 I also changed job and traveled often around Europe so it's nice to see again people I hosted in their own city/country when I travel.

I do some photography and am passionate about music production/promotion,
technology, computers, internet: I started using a computer to communicate with other people in the early '90s; ask me whatever you want about computers :)
As a child who has always been passionate about IT, I started working in IT in 1996 and I have been through many technical roles (tech support, system and netowrk administration, network security, etc.) and then switched in 2006 to sales/presales and in 2013 I moved to Marketing for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
I love music ( I do some singing, studio recording and mixing) and have an electro-acoustic guitar for you to play ;)
You can see my photos at and

Music, Movies, and Books

everything that makes me think or gives me an emotion. that can be a romantic song, a funny movie, a special story, doesn't matter which style.
I'm not that much into mainstream/commercial stuff (for example I now buy CDs only by the hands of local artists or in the internet: there's plenty of good artists who deserve my money instead of it mostly going to corporations).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Making my way through life. loving truly.

Performing as a singer facing more than 1000 persons.

Meeting people I hosted in Montpellier during my business trips around Europe.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a very expert IT guy (especially for the social aspects/consequences), so if you're passionate about knowing how the internet works, or what's the story behind telcommunications networks and what was all behind, I'm the one. I love music (I am still taking singing lessons since years) but never studied it so if you wanna teach me some or some basics on how to play an instrument... I'd LOVE to!
In my spare time I also do some photography (mostly concerts);

What I Can Share with Hosts

I don't like and I'm not good at showing you the city from an historical/architectural point but I am very good at making you meet nice people in town where (I mostly hang out with musicians, people working in clubs, bars, concerts, etc.) as I often go to pubs and bars and have tons of different conversations about the most diverse topics (from ridiculous ones to very serious ones).
