ABOUT ME

Ok here we go
Am a somali born, london bred student.
Just spent the last two years as a student in Paris and loved it!
Currently back in London, training to become a teacher
Love meeting people from around the world-just so amazing to hear about other cultures
Done a bit of travelling-interrailing round europe, backpacking in india.....trips that have literally changed my life!
Think i could probably spend the rest of my life traveling-just the slight issue of finances in the way.......
Love languages too-grew up bilingual and speak french- wanna add more to the mix(did german at school too but need to brush it up...)
Joined CS to as a way to incorporate all my interests really-meet some cool people, in some cool places and pick up a few phrases

I'm a newbie but very interested
Met an amazing french girl in Paris on my second day through couchsurfing!!

Interests

Oh gawd
i love watching movies, listening to music and learning about other cultures/languages
Love football(mainly the watching, ain't quite there with the playing lol)
I'm always up for trying a new activity-as long as there's no large risk of a bloody death!
Most importantly, i'm a big fan of just hanging out over a coffee etc CHILLIN lol

Into different kinds of music like hip hop, soul, jazz, african, latin, indie, folk, etc basically like anythin but hard metal rock
I love arthouse/foreign movies
As for books-one stands out at the moment-Chinua Achebe's "Things Fall Apart". Genius is all i can say.
