I think most of us dream about such journey at some age. Only a few of those dreamers get to realize the dream.
I have been always amazed by the brave ones, those who leaves everything behind in their 20âs (which are few) and start the exploration journey, seeking to have a real life experiences before they commit to their universities and get busy holding on to a career.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am organizing my life now as I am starting it from scratch so I will be on and off in participating but will do my best to support the community.
I have 2 blog posts about my CS experience:
My CS Experience
in general: 99% of the couchsurfing members are really cool, educated in their own way and very nice.
Every single meeting with a CouchSurfer is another culture exchange and you always gain/give a new information.
This is what I love the most about CS.
In The Quran, God said:"O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise each other). Verily the most honored of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things). 49:13
CouchSurfing exist in our Arabic Culture thousands of years ago, we had a tradition of hosting guests for 3 days, before even asking them what's the reason of the visit.
The reason of that tradition is because people used to travel a month to go from place to another using horses, camels or even walking to their destinations (of course before the invention of cars, trains and airplanes). So imagine yourself traveling for a month don't you need a place to rest for a while?
In fact Islam encourage us to take care of travelers!
