Finish my ph.d. and then conquer the world.

ABOUT ME

I am very outgoing and easy to talk to. I probably have to personal sides. One that is very ambitious who wants a good career and one that is very relaxed and can find the funny thing in all situations.
Beside my Ph.D. project I run a study café in one of the troubled areas of Copenhagen. I am in charge of close to 40 volunteers. We work under the danish youth red cross and help the children of foreign families with their school homework.
Beside all the serious stuff, I am very interested in football, both playing and watching.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am very green in this area. Only heard good things about it from friends and when I get a better opportunity to host people (read when I get a housing of my own) I will definetely take people in. I love meeting new people and learn about various cultures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been backpacking a lot, but never couch surfed at this moment.

Music, Movies, and Books

I watch all movies who has been grated higher than 7 by IMDB. I like movies that surprises with a special twist. Sometimes i just like to be entertained, but I never watch a movie where the word wedding is in the title.
Books. I like classics. Right now I am reading a lot from Hemingway.
Music. Everything depending on the mood. I am mostly into indie with Beck and Eels as the major favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done some crazy and weird stuff, but for this question, I don´t like to admit it, but I must say the study café. We have started an initiative where we have hired two 14 year olds to look after some children so we can help their mothers get an education and get integrated in Denmark a lot faster. I like to get an idea and then to see it happen.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a lot of usable things but I certainly also know many unusable things. I like long term cooking and i am trying to make my self into an expert in sous vide cooking just to take an example.
