ABOUT ME

I am a easy going artist who is always up for new experiences and adventures. I recently graduated from Pratt Institute with a major in Illustration and currently living in Brooklyn, New York. My passions are writing and illustrating my own comic books and children's books. I was born in the United States and since then have done little traveling abroad, which is something about myself I am really looking forward to changing. Everyone has a story to tell and I love listening to each one. I hope to hear yours.

Other then filling out my profile page, not much, but hoping this is the door to new friends and great experiences.

Interests

Anything that has to do with art is for me. Most of my work is done by hand with watercolors, but I also love to draw, screen print, make pottery, and photoshop.

I enjoy the out doors as well such as, hiking, swimming, kayaking, basketball, and soccer.

Music, Movies, and Books

I've been a big fan of movies ever since my first, Star Wars in a small theater sitting in my car seat. My DVD collection is massive most of them are comedies, with the exception of my Stanley Kubrick collection.(the man was amazing) I enjoy listening to movies on my laptop while I paint.

When it comes to music I enjoy listening to all types, but have a special place in my heart for classic rock because that was what my father and I would listen to driving when I was little.

I try to read as much as I can. Books by Joseph Campbell, Kurt Vonnegut, Jack Kerouac, Hunter S. Thompson, J.D. Salinger, Homer, Herman Melville, Jean Jacques Rousseau, and Immanuel Kant.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After High School my best friend and I took a road trip across the United States. We drove from Pennsylvania to Arizona with a stop off in Las Vegas, Nevada to see George Carlin perform live. It was the single greatest week of my life and to commemorate the trip we both got tattoos.
