About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to develop a more focused artistic direction through immersing myself in enlightening social an environmental atmospheres

ABOUT ME

I am 24 years old, loving, and outgoing. I am environmentally and socially conscious, enthusiastic about bicycles, art, and expanding my knowledge of anything that piques my interest. I consider myself a clean and responsible person as well as a good friend, communicator, and listener. I am young and just beginning to explore some of the many places I would like to see in my lifetime. I just learned about couchsurfing.com while on my west coast cycling tour. I have been camping in state parks and open lots on my route from seattle to los angeles and am very interested in the social experience of couchsurfing.

PHILOSOPHY

Be respectful, open, and understanding to all... follow my heart, live my dreams, make an impact.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am brand new to this, but very enthusiastic and willing to adopt couchsurfing as part of my current and future travel and hosting experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

Folk, jazz, noise, concrete, drone, psych, experimental, punk music. I am really into the bands Mt. Eerie, Health, Six Organs of Admittance, Om, Pocahaunted, Air Conditioning, Social Junk, Oneida, and many many others.

I have a laundry list of books that I need to tackle in the future, but have been heavily influenced by the work of Camus, Dostoeyevsky, William S. Burroughs, and Jack Kerouac.

I really enjoy watching odd short animations experimental films.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The trip I am currently on has been absolutely incredible. I have biked over 900 miles in 18 days and have seen some incredible places along the west coast (Seattle, Portland, Redwoods, Sea Caves, wildlife, farmlands) Throughout this trip I have been traveling with a backpacker guitar and a sketchbook, trying to keep up with all the amazing ideas the landscapes are carving my head.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am pretty knowledgeable about bicycle maintenance and repair. I am also a passionate musician and, though primarily self taught (I'm no theory expert), absolutely love sharing my music with anyone willing to listen.
