About Me

I am a graduate student about to start my PhD in Clinical Psychology in Los Angeles; will be moving from MTL summer 2018.

I attempt to try something new every time I travel! Last year I traveled on my own for the first time, and this year I will be doing so again, and am trying to leave hostels aside, and try to stay with locals instead.

I am outgoing, open-minded, fascinated by the world's variety in cultures, and always ready to learn.

Le français est ma langue maternelle, y yo hablo español un poquito tambien :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In my quest to better myself comes the task to better my travels.

CS is the best way to do so, because travelling is about experiencing, if not, you're just moving from one place to another. Experiencing with locals, with people with whom you would have never crossed paths if it wasn't for this platform.

I am stepping out of my comfort zone in hopes that CS will help me expand it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Fan of everything hip hop, I can occasionally enjoy the downtempo house.

I am a big fan of Tarantino; my favorite movie being "Inglorious Basterds". Other of my top movies include Scorsese's "Goodfellas", or Xavier Dolan's "Mommy".

I am definitely not a bookworm, but one of my favorite books is Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor E. Frankl.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visit and work in First Nation communities in my Canadian province.

Canada is a large and vast country, and to reach some of these communities requires no less than 13 hours of commute. An interesting, beautiful place I was unaware existed until my best friend exposed me to it; I will be forever grateful.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have no particular talent, but I can sure sustain an interesting conversation.

I also have a list of "Did you know?" that I always can recall and that are sure to impress.

Countries I’ve Visited

Denmark, France, Germany, Ghana, Netherlands, Sweden
