For the past two years I have worked wilderness therapy at a program called SUWS of the carolinas. The work has been rigorous and challenging so now I'm treating myself to a cross country road trip! Gonna land in Seattle for a summer job at BOLD mountain school in June. Otherwise I'm a pretty laid back person. Definitely more of a listener than talker. Enjoy live music, friendly people, a good book, and the great outdoors.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because I'm traveling the country and want to see as much of it as possible and I'm on a budget! Im doing this trip solo so any added human contact is a plus though I'm generally pretty laid back and amiable.

Music, Movies, and Books

So many books- lately lots of junot Diaz and Raymond carver. Otherwise- David foster Wallace, Milan Kundera, Ted conover, Cormac McCarthy and so much more. I'm a pretty big book worm.

Music- I love the national. Otherwise lots of indie and punk music and some hip-hop. I really like all music though and am always looking for new tunes to jam out to.

Some of my favorite flicks are There Will Be Blood, The Big Lebowski, Pocahontas, The Life Aquatic, ... Etcetc
