I am 58, married for 25 years, two daughters.
I am outgoing, have a good sense of humor. Wide interests with one exception: politics. I have travelled a lot, a bit less the last years due to raising the children and building up a practice at home. Together with my wife we travelled around the world for over a year in 1992. Everything is a short holiday after that!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting people in an easy way is a lot more fun than staying in some hotel where people come and go. I am very interested in what motivates people and since I have a broad knowledge I can share insights and discuss with people to learn new things!

Interests

Healing people is my passion. I work part time in our practice that I have with my wife.I play tennis and sometimes golf (about hcp 26), and in the summer a bit of windsurfing nearby with my daughters. I also paint, mostly acrylic, charcoal and pencil. I also have a regular job that pays the bills.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a typical 70 ties guy: music like Emerson Lake and Palmer, Yes, Pink Floyd, Eagles etc.I used to play drums in a band but due to lack of time, stopped playing.
Books about the science and intuition: where the two meet is very interesting. Tor Norretranders has a good book. Also a good novel of Dan Brown.
Movies: depends: we went to Interstellar with the girls, nice animations, the plot was a little to simple for me. Movies with romance in them and also a good story are my favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two years ago finished my Masters thesis 3 months earlier than was planned. (don't ask how it happened....)
One year ago my wife and I started our practice, a long treasured wish.

Teach, Learn, Share

I give workshops for HSP's or highly sensitive persons.
Also I give lectures about the Human Energy system.
I am interested in other peoples experiences in life: if you want to understand someone: listen to the story of their life, the important moments they never forget, these count. Learn: better painting and healing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Many facts about other countries.
Wide interest in many subjects: technical stuff, boats, cars, planes but also about philosophy, a bit about art, nature you name it.
If I don't know about it I will tell so and listen to people who more about something else, which happens often!
