to expose people to my (vegetarian, recycling, liberal, bike-riding) lifestyle, and to learn about your lifestyle.
I am a laid-back, politically liberal, non-religious, vegetarian who tries to ride a bike to most places. I recycle and try to be conscious about what I consume. I like most types of music, and cherish being exposed to music I haven't heard before. I like to be clean and pick up after myself. I don't watch TV. I forget sometimes that I have one (keep it to watch movies on). I try to treat others the way I want to be treated. I appreciate it when you do to!
I try to go into a new experience with an open mind and few expectations (above and beyond the basics: being respected, etc.). I like being nice and helping others. I try to treat others the way I want to be treated. Seems like a nice way to live, and it is working for me.
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
First I will offer my couch to others, then will surf on other's couches when I can.
none, yet, through this site. Though I have had others stay at my house who I did not previously know. Marvelous experiences, both.
Music (prerecorded and live), reading, cooking, eating out, going out for drinks (coffee, beer, wine), cycling, dancing, pool, hiking, going to movies. Exposure to new activities is cool too.
- eating out
Documentaries, foreign films, thought-provoking films, films that make me laugh are all good. I don't like films that scare me or make me too sad. I like a bunch of different kinds of music, a lot of indie music, alt. rock, some rap, some hip-hop, some electronica, bluegrass, jazz, classic country, raggae. Not a big fan of most pop (rock or country), or classic rock. Small doses of jam is fine.
I love quirky stories, books, music and movies. And people for that matter!
I swam with clown fish in Thailand. Cute!
I write my dreams down every time I remember them. I know a tiny, tiny bit about Jungian dream analysis. I find it to be fascinating!
