Wants to Meet Up

Happy, dreamer, curious, sensitive, sensible, reflective, spontaneous, honest, strong... it's not like I'm gonna tell you my bad qualities, too! ;)
My name is Eugenia and I'm a wanderlusting vegan Italian woman.
My wanderlust is the very reason I'm on Couchsurfing.
Being vegan is an expression of a very important part of myself: the part that cannot look away from injustice and isn't afraid to be uncomfortable.
Despite all the bad stuff, I'm quite proud of my cultural heritage and I'm happy to be Italian. Unfortunately, at this time my country is not the best place for me to express myself and grow. I'm still looking for my place.
Right now I do my best trying to keep my focus on the things that really matter to me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because it's the best way to travel. Since I joined CS in 2009, for every single trip I've done, CS was my first option.
I love to meet locals, to interact with people from a different background and feel at home in another country.
At the same time, I like to host and meet people in my city because it makes me feel like I'm traveling when I'm home and see my daily life from another perspective.
I'm not gonna lie, I spend most of my free time surfing the internet or watching tv shows or hanging out with friends.
Other than that, I love: creative cooking, going to the cinema, reading fiction and non-fiction, planning my life (it's soothing, though I rarely follow my plans), doing yoga or running, going to music or food related events.
My favorite places are parks, coffee shops and libraries.
I can safely say that my nr. 1 interest is traveling.
Music, Movies, and Books
Musical genres that I've listened to over time in no particular order: pop, rock, punk-rock, indie-rock, grunge, emo, metal, industrial, electronic, classical, reggae. If you ask me to name a band or an artist I'll probably stare blankly at you.
Movies I watched and particularly liked in the last year and a half: 2001: a space odyssey, Trash, Pride, La famille Bélier, Cowspiracy, Whiplash, Mommy, Cloud atlas, Boyhood, Mustang.
Books: Harry Potter and His Dark Matters are children's book that I still re-read today. I read a lot of non-fiction (social sciences, philosophy, psychology, animal rights, urban planning...). A novel I just read and loved is The Tartar Steppe by Dino Buzzati.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I sewed a dress all by myself.
I traveled alone for 2 months.
I walked on fire (twice).
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach how to cook some Italian vegan dishes, and I also can teach some Italian language. If someone can do the same with his/her typical cooking and language I'll be very happy :P
