About Me

Hi! I'm Jane in English name but if you call me my korean name, Eunjung (I
know it's not easy to pronounce), it will be more delightful :)
I'm 20 years old and about to go on a travel. This is my first time for Europe. I will stay in Europe for several months. I want to see various aspects of countries I'm heading to and meet people in there. The theme of this travel is to observe my self, decide what I will go for and go into action with lots of tries in Europe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wanna see and experience real life and people in place i'm heading to. I've been to Japan few weeks ago and the most rememberable thing is people in there. Actually I make a plan for a trip as possible as I can when I go on a trip. But at this time I fortunately met kind and lovely people and this memory made me change my established thought and let me open to unknown or unexpected chance. That's the biggest reason why I'm trying to do couchsurfing! Also I wanna feel that the world is big. I wanna learn and grow from getting a feedback while talking with people from various backgrounds also want to observe myself being changed.

Interests

I'm especially into drama and film. I've always watched drama since I was young. I don't know why but plotting a story and making a film with proper music are so fascinating and seem brilliant. I think I instinctively react to the beauty of harmony btw image and sound.
Actually my interests keep changing but thing still has been going on is art. As one of it, I've been interested in modern dance. If it is possible, I want to go concerts or gigs with a host! Also I'd learned fine arts for a long time when I was kid and it's a big pleasure for me to go to a gallery and see works of art. I rather prefer being alone and letting myself be in a zone but now I want to send a breath of fresh air to my hobby.

Music, Movies, and Books

Hmm... it's really really hard to choose only some works of art. First of all, music I think as classic are 'Dance for me Wallis' by Abel Korzeniowski,
'Help', 'Cupid' by Hurts ,
Frank:prelude, Chorale Et Fugue played by Sunwook Kim ,
Love is blindness by Jack White ,
Over the love by Florence + The Machine and.. Final Frontier by Thomas Bergersen.
Also movies that make my heart flutter are 'Interstella', 'The Red Violin' and 'Atonement'. Oh, there's 'The Unknown Woman'. It's a perfect film and one of my best of best films. I'm sure there must be some others but I don't remember more than them right now.
As my legendary books, well.. I can't forget when I first read 'The sorrow of young Werther' which let me know what is thrill of ecstasy as a emotion for the first time and led me to start to read books. The book I'm reading is 'Love in the Time of Cholera' which has lingering first sentence. I'm not picky about the nationality of books at all but I've particularly liked british historic literature like 'Jane eyre' or 'Pride and Prejudice' since I was young. Those are the most romantic and dreamy books for me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Getting a ticket for Europe! I've always hoped to go Europe but I didn't expect that day finally comes quite soon than I thought.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Thinking. Experience. Cultural Backgrounds. Various perspective.
I want to exchange experiences each other but more want to make a memory with host or other people in there. If it's possible, it will be so great to go to a gig or have a nice dinner something like that.
