I have two amazing children and we're making the best of our lives in Australia. I'm a Capoeira Mestre (you might want to come to a class), a PE Teacher and a social scientist. In the past 4 years I've also become a teacher in Regenerative Design (e.g. Permaculture, Holistic Management, etc.).

For the past 25 years I have been travelling through Brazil and many other countries because of my life as a Capoeira mestre. Our custom in Capoeira is that we organise and promote events and then host people from all over the world so that we can train and learn from diverse interactions.

We enjoy an active life, the beach, good live music (mostly Brazilian) and good food (a mix of the world's healthier and tastier meals ;) ). We also enjoy a little home garden from which we harvest fresh herbs and greens to cook amazing meals.

We are very tidy and and a few house rules (nothing crazy) as we're a family with children.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

The sort of life I enjoy living in Capoeira, travelling the world and staying with friends in their houses is a kind of tradition that is very similar to what the CouchSurfing community does. I have 25 years of experience travelling and staying with friends and colleagues. With the family lifestyle, my Capoeira travels decrease a bit, so we decided to bring the same vibe to our home (so that my children can have similar experiences from a young age) joining CouchSurfing.

A big chunk of my PhD is about the globalization of cultures, so I love learning from people's experiences in other countries and how they interact with different cultures.
You might want to join one of my Capoeira classes or a bit of live Brazilian music with my friends.
In addition, there are amazing beaches around and many other places to visit.
