关于我

CURRENT MISSION

To Make it Home with some Money in the Bank

ABOUT ME

I'm a dynamic and curious personality who enjoys different perspectives and different ways of viewing the world, most particularly though discussion, art, and film. My major is in argument but story and the gift of good converstation are excellent charms of mine I'm told. I'm also a dancer and to me the two most universal languages are dance and laughter.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is meant to challenge, breath, change, and be fun. I believe in living every day to the utmost if possible, even if that just means quiet tea at home on a given day with 5 meetings and a wide party the next. I think love and freedom are beautiful, particularly when found together, and that one should never be made to feel that they are less than anything.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

From being on the road I've been amazed at how unprepared some people can be and yet how over prepared others can. Sharing traveling secrets and tips are a fun way to make any trip more interesting and exchanging maps even better. My traveling companion and I have been enjoying the pursuit of good but cheap eating on the road in small hostel kitchens (an art we're finding) and I'm thinking a book on the topic would be of fine use to others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not ever had the pleasure of using this particular webservice but have experience staying with family of friends of relatives and such. I've always enjoyed my time, made a point to be a good house guest, and look back with fond memories. The best times include home grown strawberries for dessert in London from the backyard of my host and the good music recommendation on an Italian Band which I'm currently enjoying on my MP3 player. You get more than just a couch with any traveling homestay experience.

兴趣

Fire dancing, photography, film, post card art, finding my way through crowds of tourists, admiring the art that is traveling by train, and seeing just how little one can live on in 56 days.

音乐、电影和书籍

American Beauty, The Constant Gardener, Ender's Game, Eat, Pray, Love, and Anne Rice's vampire series. Music is a much more difficult topic that would require you, me, and a whole lot of CDs.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

1? Only 1? Okay. I graduated highschool two years early, lived in France for 10 months, and then got into a private university from which I will graduate a year early. Does that count as one?

教,学,和分享

I do a mean veggie scramble and can fire dance. I'm a wicked organizer and have a few tips to share on packing. Never underestimate a map and a smile either. I'd welcome advice in easy steps to relax and how to set out clear goals without getting too distracted with everything else you want to do.
