Frenchie with a travel virus, that tends to quiet down a bit, I like quiet time but also big crowds and excitement. I have a french countryside background but I'm getting used to the city life since a few years.
I'm opinionated but also like to discuss my certainities with knowledgeable and thoughful people. There is nothing like the feeling of "clicking" with a new person and exploring likeness and differences through long and open conversations.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm fully convinced that we should consider things more globally and also really dig into ourselves to act in a consistent way. What should we do, where are we going and why, what are the consequences of what we do? So as to create a more conscious society, starting with ourselves. Being part of an international community is part of that for me.
I also like to show people the small and beautiful details of the ecosystems I live in : best spots to watch sunsets, best shops to buy amazing tasty local food, best benches to observe local life... And I like having that kind of tips when travelling.
I love being alone and choosing where my next steps will lead me, but also thrive for good advices, walking and chatting somewhere new with good company.
Like any random human being today, I have lots and lots of interests. Probably an internet-omnipresence symptom. I guess the two topics I can really get intense about lately are food and relationship ethics.
Apart from that, I'm always thinking about environnemental issues and needs : what I waste, what system I'm part of, bad consumption habits, why it's so hard for everyone to be more conscious about the fact that we are in a closed loop system. And the consequences of acting like it's not.
A question I ask myself when going through profiles when looking for a host : why do most of the guys have almost only female reviews? Does it mean that guys don't travel? Or do guys host only females in the hopes that at some point probability will help them getting laid? Or is modern masculinity so repulsing that even guys are afraid to host guys they don't know? Or is CS a giant dating platform and no one told me the codes so I could avoid that feature?

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't know. I never know.
I love a song/movie/book one day, it reshapes everything I thought I knew and believed in before, and boom... I'm moving to the next one.
I like sensations. I like emotions. I like beautiful pictures and atmospheres.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm on a journey to let go of things. I want to act and be there, but also to let things go. It's very intense, daily and introspective. It's my burden but also my thing. I consider sticking to it a curse but also an amazing thing that I'm doing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach people how to cook more instinctively, to trust their abilities and to speak out about their feelings. I can babble about internationals and locals food systems for hours. I'm ready to learn and share what is needed to be more understanding of individuals I meet.
