ABOUT ME

I am 27 years old and I have been a student for about 4 years now. Before that, I worked as a labor union organizer for a good stint fighting along side workers to make all of our lives and communities better through direct action and initiative of regular people. That was my dream job, I enjoyed it so much. I decided to move on from that and start my education, can't do that work forever, or I couldn't, I was working 14-16 hour days sometimes, especially during an election year. Its grueling. When I started college, I majored in Spanish but soon I was redirected to psychology and medicine.

Music is a major part of my life. I have played piano since the age of 7 and I play the classical guitar. i have so for about 4 years. I have become quite good at it finally, haha, took lots of hard work.

I graduate in December with my bachelors from Our Lady of the Lake University god willing and the I will take a little time to rest and get ready to continue postgraduate work.

PHILOSOPHY

Secular Humanistic Judaism: celebrates cultural Jewish identity through a human-focused philosophy of life. Judaism is the evolving civilization of the Jewish people. It has been created, lived and recreated in response to the needs and beliefs of each generation. In our days, we believe in the power of people to understand their world and to influence it for the better. We celebrate human freedom and responsibility for our choices and actions. And we know that if justice is to exist in our world, we must create it together. Secular Humanistic Judaism is a cultural Jewish identity lived through this human-focused non-theistic philosophy of life. I believe all humans regardless of belief system are in this together so we have to get along. :) Why not?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not yet couchsurfed. I saw a program on RT (Russian TV) and decided to sign up after I saw other people's experiences with it.

Intereses
