About Me

Hello. Hola.

Here is a snap shot of my life. In July 2, 1991 my mom named me Yesenia (sometimes I like to go by Yesi). All of my childhood memories are from living in the sunshine of Los Angeles and San Berandino, California. Early in my pre-teen years, my family moved to Missouri; and in this beautiful state, I went though my rebellious and loving teen and adult years. So many memories made as we visited California in my teen years. Traveling back sparked my curiosity of traveling. Once I entered college, I looked into studying abroad – it never happened. However, I have been blessed by God to travel the world from China to Germany to Spain. In May 2014, I walked to get my diploma. I finished with my degree in Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. When I wasn’t planning to travel the world, doing class work, and being with friends, I was a team member and leader in Enactus, PBL, Floor PR, and the Business Student Council Board. Over the years, I have learned a lot throughout reading, traveling, experiences, and from others. I would love to share and converse about what I have learned. Let’s chat!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting and learning about people's cultures. One way is to see someones lifestyle. I have gone to hostels and stayed in hotels, but this is the best way to see and understand the culture.
