I want to see as much of this beautiful planet as I can. I also want to meet as many interesting people as possible. I love to play music and want to do that for a living some day.

ABOUT ME

I feel I'm different.. in a good way, haha. Very positive and want to always be having fun with everyone and anyone around me. I don't take myself too seriously and love to goof around and be social.
Love anything music related, and really any kind of music. You'll find me at the most extreme metal shows, in the pit rocking out, or at some crazy festival in the mountains dancing to some funky breaks. Gotta stay fluid, I say.
Overall though, I feel I'm just really relaxed, chill and happy to be here.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is one giant learning experience. Never settle, although it sounds like some lame thing you'd see hanging on a ceramic plaque in your mother's kitchen, there are always new things to learn and just take everything with an open mind and try to find enjoyment out of every little thing you do. Slow down and just live life. Chill.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm brand new to this (October 2009), so I haven't really participated yet. But I feel this site will come in handy in the future when I do embark on some world travel.

I've had friends from internet forums come and visit and stay with me for a couple weeks at a time and had a great experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all types of music. I don't try and say this because I really don't have a personal preference or i am THAT boring to where I can't decide. I just seriously LOVE all types of music and can find myself singing along to old country tunes and then moshing to some Pig Destroyer the next day. Right now, I'm really into the UK's electronic music scene, mainly dubstep because it's new and excited and I'm a bit of a basshead, but I also love me some good funky groovy breaks. I play in a alternative/indie rock back called Hale Hale (www.myspace.com/halehalemusic)and enjoy alot of similar music.
As for movies, I'm not really into the summer blockbusters or comic book hero type movies that the industry just seems to vomit out to make some cash and then the dvd eventially ends up in the bottom of the 2 for 10 bin the next year. I really like a movie that makes me think, really go "woah" or is just beautiful to watch.
I'm just now getting into reading and find myself reading mostly classics and non-fiction related stuff like the Selfish Gene and "This is your Brain On Music"
