About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current life mission is to explore the vastness and diversity of my country in whatever way I can!
ABOUT ME
I'm a curious explorer, frequent traveler, occasional couch-surfer, and first-time CS user. I'm a student in NY state but enjoy traveling and backpacking whenever I can.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm doing everything I can to ensure that when I reach the end of my life, I can look back and say that I have faced every possible experience with excitement and openness. Take every new opportunity, try every new activity, meet every new person, and learn as much from it all as possible: that is my philosophy. I want to meet new people and experience new things--I truly believe that connecting with a stranger is one of the most rewarding things a person can do. We wander, we meet, we leave without knowing whether our paths will cross again--but either way we both have grown.

Bananas actually grow upward from the stem like a blooming onion, so that the way we normally hang or stack bananas is upside-down. Similarly, all other primates eat bananas by opening the non-stem end first; it makes sense when you consider that that is the fruit's correct orientation (and opening it that way actually avoids those stringy bits that stick to the peel). Humans are the only primates that eat bananas from the stem-side--I say let's trust our evolutionary predecessors and return to our so-called roots. :)
[An interesting thought to illustrate the point: consider the classic "slipping on a banana peel" scene. Which way is the banana always opened?]
