Hey, I'm Eva. I'm a native-New Yorker. I recently quit my job and am sorting out a way to never have to work a day job again. Lately I've been spending my time reading, doing improv, and traveling as often as I can while maintaining a life in my favorite city in the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted a handful of Couchsurfers and couchsurfed for 6 nights with two separate hosts in PR.
Hosted a few people and couchsurfed in Puerto Rico. Pretty awesome experience all around. Love the waft of adventure travelers bring in with them. Loved the hospitality of my hosts. Feel like I have made solid friendships.
Performance. Really into comedic improv right now. Love comedy as a healing agent.
Woo woo stuff. Astrology, tarot, numerology, reiki, shamanism. You name it; I'm probably into it.
Travel. Of course.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all music. Lean mostly towards alternative, female artists, hip hop.
My favorite director is Pedro Almodovar. I try to avoid major studio pictures, especially blockbuster-type films. I loved Blancanieves, the Decalogue, Michel Gondry, early Mira Nair, early Baz Luhrman.
Getting into Charles Bukowski. Love Zadie Smith. I read a ton of stuff on astrology. I read a ton of self-help books. Currently making a conscious attempt to read more literature and revive my old love it. Open to recommendations!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think the hardest thing I've done is quit my very easy, secure job with no real plan. I guess that qualifies as amazing to me.
